Our client with a site in Central Bristol was due to have the external cladding replaced, and the residents had been waiting for these important works to take place.
The building due to be scaffolded, the supports would be placed in the perimeter landscaping. With the yew hedges around the perimeter, it could attract nesting birds. If birds were nesting at the time of scaffolding installation, these urgent works would have had to be stopped as it is illegal to disturb nesting birds and under GL41 Licencing.
In order to prevent birds from nesting, our specialist team were able to completely wrap all the yew hedges in 19mm net, before nesting season commenced allowing birds to nest elsewhere safeguarding the start of these works.
