Craig Bickerstaffe
Contracts Manager - Sheffield
My name is Craig Bickerstaffe and I am the Contracts Manager for the Sheffield and surrounding areas. I have worked for NBC for nearly 9 years and have enjoyed every minute. I started off as a trainee falconer working on local landfills flying a bird of prey freely to deter gulls.
I have many clients throughout Sheffield and surrounding areas who I provide bird and pest solutions for. Not to far away we provide an excellent service for the local hospitals such as Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole. Over the years they have had huge issues with Pigeons and pests such as rats and mice and its our job to help prevent this before it becomes an issue. We have been helping the local hospitals for several years and really enjoy helping out as best we can. No job is to big or small.
I have both large and small customers in the Sheffield areas and we are currently helping out a customer for the local Meadowhall shopping centre who have a long history of problems with pigeons gaining access inside. To help deter these we use a falconer who flies freely a bird of prey to deter them from site to prevent any issues and gaining entry inside. We provide the solutions to protect the health and safety of our clients and their varied businesses.
Many businesses in the Sheffield area have regular issues and requirements for the control for pests such as rats and mice, our rapid response teams always react with priority and efficiency in a very professional manner to address the problems being experienced in order to protect our clients and their business from the risks posed by pests.
When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 3 sons aged 17, 12 and 7 who all play football. I am a level 2 football coach and I have the great honour of being the main football coach for all my 3 sons football teams which as you can imagine is both enjoyable and exciting at the same time. I am a huge Manchester United fan and a proud season ticket holder.
