With recent works completed, the new Broadmarsh Bus Station was due for opening on 1st November 2021 as part of the regeneration of the city centre. With a massive pigeon population in the area the new development has attracted a number of pigeons to roost of an evening, given the building has been vacant awaiting opening, this has led to a build up of guano around the site that was becoming unsightly and could potentially lead to staining of the newly painted floors, fixtures and fittings.
Having built a relationship working with the council on other sites, the NBC team in Nottingham were asked to assist in ensuring the building was in the best possible condition prior to media attendance and its opening on the 1st November. After a thorough survey and works being agreed, specially trained waste removal technicians attended to set about to carry out the works. Working alongside a number of contractors on site, and working to a strict time table, our expert technicians were able to complete the works within the timeframe allowed and ensure the objectives were met.

“I wished to say a huge thank you for the hard work that your team put in last week at the Broad Marsh site. They worked really hard and the site looked great for the media attendance on Friday. A job well done. Much appreciated.”
